Build what matters. Make the decisions easier to act on.

I'm building two tools.
One is about money.
One is about learning French.

I'm turning complexity into
Money

I had the numbers.

But I didn't know what deserved my attention,
or what I needed to do with them.

French

I knew the grammar.

But when it came time to actually use it,
I still wasn't sure which structure to choose.

Information is easy to find.

Knowing what to do with it isn't.

TWO TOOLS

Different problems.
Same idea.

Your attention should be spent on the thing you care about —
not on managing the friction around it.

I'm interested in building tools that remove some of that friction.
Not to make people more disciplined.
To make the useful thing easier to see
and the next decision easier to make.

WEALTH TRACKER

More than a dashboard.
A personal financial system that tells you what to do next.

You can have every number in front of you
— income, spending, savings, investments.
And still not know:

  • Where do I stand?
  • Am I financially safe?
  • Is my emergency fund where it needs to be?
  • What do I actually have across every account and currency?
  • What needs to change?
  • What's the next sensible move?

Wealth Tracker brings your financial information together, making it easier to understand,
showing you what deserves your attention,
and turning that into a short list of what to do next.

See what you have.
Know what deserves attention.
Know what to do next.

For people who want their financial picture organised into a next step — not just a clearer report.

Because awareness changes behaviour.
When the picture becomes clearer,
better decisions become easier.
Wealth Tracker gives you a ranked action plan.

Net worth · Financial safety · Cash flow · Investments · Action plan

You're financially covered.
Net worth ฿1,842,300 ▲ +1.8%
Investments ฿245,027 ▲ +8.1%
Emergency fund 6.2 mo Target 6.0
Saved this month 34% Goal 30%
Net worth — last 8 months
Investment allocation
Stocks — 93% Gold — 5% Cash — 2%
Your next moves
  1. Emergency fund is above target — consider directing new savings to investments.
  2. Allocation has drifted from target — a rebalance is due.
  3. This month's savings rate beat goal — nothing needs to change yet.

FRENCH KNOWLEDGE EXPLORER

You don't need another explanation of French grammar.

The problem was never a shortage of explanations.
There are already plenty.
The hard part is using what you know when you actually have to choose:

  • Which structure fits here?
  • Why this one?
  • Why not the other?

FKE is built around that moment — so you spend less time searching for explanations and more time actually using French.

Less searching. More using.

For French learners who have studied grammar but still hesitate between structures when speaking or writing.

WEALTH TRACKER

More dashboards won't tell you what to do.
Wealth Tracker turns the numbers you already have into better decisions.

I had the numbers. I knew what I had, what I spent, what I'd invested.
I could see all of it and still wonder what actually needed my attention.

That question — and the one that follows it,
what do I do about it — is where Wealth Tracker starts.

A conventional dashboard stops at the numbers, the charts, the categories. Wealth Tracker adds the layer most tools skip: what deserves attention, and what to do about it.

DECIDE

Your money. Your data.

Wealth Tracker lives in your own Google Sheet.

  • No bank connection.
  • No account to hand over.
  • No subscription keeping your own numbers behind a paywall.

If this project disappears tomorrow, your copy keeps working.

Your data stays yours.

FRENCH KNOWLEDGE EXPLORER

The problem wasn't learning French. It was getting back to the French.

I started studying French and somehow ended up studying how to find information about French.

Another explanation, another example, another tab — trying to remember where I'd seen the rule that finally made sense.

That's the friction FKE is built to remove.

Find the structure.

DECIDE

The goal isn't to know more grammar. It's to choose better when it counts.

WHO IT'S FOR

FKE is for learners who already have a foundation and keep running into the same thought: I understand it. Why can't I use it?

The first version is aimed at adults preparing for TEF Canada or TCF Canada.

SHARED PHILOSOPHY

Less friction. More attention.

We lose a surprising amount of attention to things that were never the main task.

We search. Compare. Switch. Re-check.
We spend time trying to find the right answer instead of using it.
And sometimes, after all that, we're still not sure what to do.

That led me to a simple question:

Why do we spend so much attention managing the process instead of doing the thing?

I took ideas from Atomic Habits and The Psychology of Money and used them as design principles for both projects.

The principle is simple:

Reduce friction.

Design the environment so attention can go toward the decision that actually matters. Not by relying on more willpower.

Make the important thing easier to see.

Put the useful thing closer.

Remove decisions that don't need to exist.
